The Lake Garda Marathon is back with a new name: Lake Garda 42.

 

Held at Italy's largest lake, the 51km-long Lago di Garda, the event offers several super-scenic races:

 

Kids Run

21km Half Marathon

42km Marathon

2 x 21km Marathon Relay

The Kids Run takes place in Riva del Garda at the lake's northern end.

 

The Half Marathon route begins in Arco, which is about five kilometres north of the lake, and ends in Malcesine (pictured), an ancient town situated on the eastern shore.

 

Participants in the Marathon run from Limone sul Garda along the western shore to Arco and from there, like the half marathon runners, to Malcesine.

 

At registration, entrants must provide a medical certificate for competitive sports.
