There is a new itinerary that wine and nature lovers absolutely cannot miss.
 
We are talking about the Bardolino Way, recently inaugurated among the vineyards and hills of Lake Garda, a suggestive cycle / pedestrian path about 100 kilometers long, rich in history, traditions and beauty.
 
The walk takes visitors to discover the homeland of Bardolino DOC red wine, dotted with over 60 wineries and farms and wineries ready to welcome all lovers of food and wine tourism.
 
In total, there are 18 itineraries, which can also be traveled separately, ideal for those who love cycling or walking.
They range from the shortest paths, about 3 kilometers long, to the more demanding ones, 20 kilometers long.
 
The objective of the Bardolino Way project is to systematize the historical-cultural and agricultural excellences of the municipalities involved, through a network of paths and trails that cross the most interesting areas from a landscape point of view and that can constitute a real offer. tourist complementary to that of Lake Garda and amusement parks.

The new Way of Bardolino crosses the Veneto in the six municipalities of Bardolino, Costermano, Garda, Rivoli Veronese, Affi and Cavaion Veronese.
 
Hikers and cyclists will be able to orient themselves thanks to special signs, consisting of 53 information signs which, in addition to reporting the route, can be downloaded on their smartphone thanks to a special QR Code that will allow access to a special app where the points of greatest interest and useful information to create your own tailor-made itinerary.
 
The map of the itineraries also indicates the parking areas where you can leave your car, and then continue the journey on foot or by bicycle.
 
The project for the construction of the Bardolino Way was born from an initiative promoted in 2016 that involved several gardeni wineries, which aims to make accessible and enhance the historical, natural and food and wine heritage of the area.
 
The path, designed by the private company Land srl and financed by the Municipalities and by the Rural Development Program for Veneto 2014-2020, thus becomes a tool to spread the knowledge of the inland places and the important wine production of the area, in first of all Bardolino, a renowned red wine from the hills of Lake Garda.
